I don't even know where to begin to describe how much I think of Micah. He was an amazing friend to me that I will always keep in my heart. He had a special way of making people feel incredible and of course making us all laugh. He was my best guy friend there at Harding. When I was preparing for my wedding I told Micah if he could wear a bridesmaids dress I would have him as a bridesmaid (joking of course). I had to retract my statement soon enough because I was pretty sure he would do it. Micah was incredibly genuine and had a huge heart. I truly admire his faith and courage. We need more Micahs in this world. I truly believe that we are given certain people in our lives for just a short while - the point being that we are "given" special people - God doesn't take them away - he gives them to us. Thank you God for giving us Micah. Thank you Micah for giving me memories, friendship, encouragement, inspiration, laughter, and love. I can't wait to see you again one day in Heaven where we will laugh and talk again for hours. You will be missed greatly and remembered always.

I can't even begin to imagine the reunion that was had between you and Kristin up in heaven. I am glad that she is there to show you around and you are there to take care of her for us. You were always such a wonderful friend to me after Kristin died, always there with a huge hug. I will never forget you Michah! My family is praying for you and yours. Save me a seat next to you and Kristin. Love you.

How grateful I am to have known Micah and how proud I am to call him a friend. I truthfully cannot remember a single time seeing him without a smile on his face. Genuinely kind, he was a friend to all...that bright spot in your day whether it was him giving you a great big hug or smashing his face among other things against the window of the class you were trying to survive, he was always bringing joy to people. His mere presence was so uplifting, I can't even imagine the number of lives he touched in his short time here, but I know that to have known Micah is to have loved him.

When I think of Micah, I always remember the most off the wall stuff he would do in the dorms. One time he changed the words to a popular song and sang "I smell Tex and Andy" everytime he walked in their room. One of those things you had to be there for, but that's what I think of when I picture Micah. He always made me laugh. We'll miss you buddy.

This site is going to be an amazing way to celebrate his life through each other. I'm not sure I've ever been through something this tough before so it's good to have everyone close. Hopefully, the memorial change will help out with travel, etc. Please keep us posted with any ideas or questions.

It is amazing the number of lives Micah touched in 27 years. He had the ability to bring the good out in people. Micah always had an encouraging word to share, and smile to go with it. I will continue to pray for his family.

I didn't know Micah as well as most of you, but I do remember how absoutley full of life he always seemed. He was one of those people who was friends with everyone because of his dynamic personality. The world is a lesser place without him.

Micah had one of those addicting smiles. When he was smiling or laughing i had to laugh. He was an amazing person always full of energy and life. He had a way of making you feel better. The classes i had with him at HU would not have been nearly as entertaining without him. He will be greatly missed but its comforting to know that he is in a better place.

Micah is my hero. I always knew him as a person who practiced what he preached. He was an example for us in life and in death. He gave himself for our protection as a nation and for all of us individually. I am humbled by his bravery and by his sacrifice. He wanted to make a difference and do something worthwhile, HE DID! He was a special person that I loved. Thank you Micah.

Micah was an amazing guy who I was lucky enough to have as a weight lifting partner for close to 2 years at Harding University. Micah always encouraged, pushed, and made me better. I will always remember him for making a tough time in my life better. He went on to serve his country proudly and once again serve as an inspiration to everyone who knew him. Micah is the 1st friend that I have been close with and lost in Iraq. It is a very odd feeling of great sadness and loss but also pride that my friend served and gave up his life for me and my kids feedom. Micah was a one of a kind and the earth is a worse place without him but Heaven has become a place that will have a lot more laughter now that Micah is there.. I had not talked to him except through e-mails for a number of years but I still loved him. Micah Rest in Peace you will be missed forever.

I lived on the same hall as Micah my first semester at Harding (Fall '99). He was one of the first people I met here, and an unforgettable personality... he went out of his way to make me feel welcome. I lost touch with him after he graduated, and I didn't know he had joined the military. But as long as he was here, whenever I heard someone shout out my name across campus, I knew it was Micah. He was a friend indeed, and he never failed to make me smile. The war has a face and a name now. Thank you for your service, Micah. We'll miss you, buddy. We won't forget.

I want to express my deepest condolences and prayers for you from myself and my family. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you manage your grief and loss today and every day that you think about Micah.

I knew Micah through Tricky. He always made us laugh no matter what the situation. He will truly be missed. I will always remember his smile.
